| What is your wealth management philosophy? |
| I believe in implementing risk control in wealth management. I never neglect the destructive power of loss. A 50% loss requires a 100% gain for recovery. Therefore, I won’t blindly pursue growth and neglect the inherent risk.
My purpose of wealth management is to minimize the impact brought by unexpected events and maximize the realization of opportunities. |
| What is the greatest achievement/challenge in your wealth advisory career? |
| The greatest achievement is the creation of close relationship with my clients. Through managing their portfolios, my clients realise that I care not only about their wealth, but also about their lives, concerns and worries. Their trust is invaluable and it has also provided many opportunities for me. |
| Favourite investment themes for 2013: |
| China is an under-valued market. In terms of sectors, I’m more in favour of real estate related businesses such as construction companies and building materials suppliers. Many large-scale public estates are under construction and this will stimulate growth of these companies.
In addition, bond fund is another favoured category because most of my clients are defensive investors. |
