| What are the strategies that contribute to the success of your business? |
| We focus on managing our existing clients’ needs and expectation. We aim to provide prestige services that are equivalent to private banking counterparts. We have two client services managers to take care of the administration procedures of our clients in applying the CIES and their underlying investments within 7 years upon they got the right of abode in Hong Kong. Pursuing professionalism and excellence is our motto, which enables us to build trust with our clients. |
|
| Could you share with us one memorable customer case study that you have provided advice for? |
| As our CIES clients are mainly from mainland China, we had one client from Xi’an who was quite conservative in his investments, and was very reluctant to invest in products that he was unfamiliar with. When we approached him, our client service managers helped him identify his investment needs and recommended some safer fixed income funds which invest in HK Government Bonds and HKMA Exchange Fund Bills & Notes to him. He was very satisfied with our detailed analysis and tailor-made recommendations for his portfolio. |
|
| Going into 2014, what are the biggest challenges for you and how would your team position to maintain a leading role in the industry? |
| The biggest challenge to our CIES business is the probability of the tightening CIES eligibility criteria such as the net assets requirement in the future, which may result in a decline in immigration. Going into 2014, we will explore other areas of business like insurance, other immigration packages and auxiliary services so as to provide a wider range of services to our clients. |
